On behalf of the Ladies Committee, I would like to thank everyone for their support in supplying the goodies for the hampers and also in the buying and selling of tickets. 130 books were handed out and 89 sold. This is the best we have done - congratulations everyone!
A total of $895 was raised and this amount will be allocated to various club requirements in the future. Our thanks to Matthew Testolin for drawing the raffle.

- 2010 BTC Countdown to Christmas Evening
On Saturday the 20th of November the Bundoora Tennis Club held their Countdown to Christmas. The night was a chance for all club members, their families and friends to get together and celebrate the year before the Christmas rush catches up. In what we hope will be an annual event approximately 50 people gathered in the club rooms for a delicious spit roast meal, including desserts, catered for by Beefers Spit Roast Catering. This part of the evening gave club members the chance to catch up amongst themselves and enjoy the delicious meal.
With the meal out of the way the tables were cleared and the tempo lifted a few notches thanks to a special performance by a live band. The band played a great mix of songs spanning two 45 minute sets, and they had everyone up on their feet. From classic hits such as John Farnham's Your the Voice tow those of more recent stars Kings of Leon there was enough to keep everyone happy. A big thanks must go to the band (Brandon, Daniel, Reggie, Ben, Simone, Michael and John) who put on the gig at no cost!
A big thanks to all those who helped in the lead up to the day and for those who helped with setting up and cleaning up on the night. A special mention must go to the Bryant family for their involvement. See you all again next year!

The 3rd annual BTC Grand Final Day party was on again in 2010 and this year's turnout was simply amazing. Around 60+ people enjoyed the historic 2010 grand final on the massive 3.5m x 3.0m screen.

The BTC Annual Trivia Night was held on Saturday September 4th at the Bundoora Community Hall in Noorong Avenue, Bundoora. We had many local businesses donate gift vouchers and prizes. Approximately 140 people attended the evening and enjoyed the sausage sizzle, the games and six rounds of various trivia questions. We raised close to $3000 which is fantastic. A big thank you to all those involved with the preparation of the evening including Merrin Lewis, Jenny Lewis, John Hampson, Sandra and Bob Bonnell, Wayne, Lisa, and Brandon Bryant, Matt Testolin and James Copes. A big thank you also goes to all those people who donated prizes for the raffle.

The annual Bundoora Tennis Club Grand Final Day party was on again this year with a turnout of 50+, an excellent turnout considering the weather forecast leading up to the big day.

On Saturday 29 August, the club held its annual trivia night at the Bundoora Community Hall. Thanks to the efforts of Merrin and Jenny Lewis as well as John Hampson, the evening was a spectacular success with approximately 150 people in attendance and the club raising close to $2,200. This money will be directed back into paying for the SRV works upgrade and the planned New Works and Services change room upgrade to incorporate disability access. Many thanks to all the members (and friends) who came along to support the club.

- 2009 Bundoora Tennis Club Open Day
BTC held their annual open day on Sunday 15 February - and what a fantastic day it turned out to be. Fresh off the back of the Australian Open club members and members of the general public packed in to fill all eight courts from 10am till well past the 1pm finish time! A number of very dedicated club and committee members helped keep the day on track by providing information to prospective new members, cooking the free bbq, organising the clinics for children and hitting partners for the adults.
The day was a lot of fun and a huge success with 34 new members signed up on the day! On top of this our head coach John Hampson, who did a fantastic job co-ordinating the clinics, also attracted some new students. A big thank you to all those involved on the day. Every contribution was greatly appreciated. :-)
