The annual Bundoora Tennis Club Grand Final Day party was on again this year with a turnout of 50+, an excellent turnout considering the weather forecast leading up to the big day.
On Saturday 29 August, the club held its annual trivia night at the Bundoora Community Hall. Thanks to the efforts of Merrin and Jenny Lewis as well as John Hampson, the evening was a spectacular success with approximately 150 people in attendance and the club raising close to $2,200. This money will be directed back into paying for the SRV works upgrade and the planned New Works and Services change room upgrade to incorporate disability access. Many thanks to all the members (and friends) who came along to support the club.

Bundoora Tennis Club 2009 Open Day
BTC held their annual open day on Sunday 15 February - and what a fantastic day it turned out to be. Fresh off the back of the Australian Open club members and members of the general public packed in to fill all eight courts from 10am till well past the 1pm finish time! A number of very dedicated club and committee members helped keep the day on track by providing information to prospective new members, cooking the free bbq, organising the clinics for children and hitting partners for the adults.
The day was a lot of fun and a huge success with 34 new members signed up on the day! On top of this our head coach John Hampson, who did a fantastic job co-ordinating the clinics, also attracted some new students. A big thank you to all those involved on the day. Every contribution was greatly appreciated. :-)
